EPEPA would like to sincerely thank the Native Vegetation Council for its expertise and time in considering and rejecting the current application to vary the Heritage Agreement at Whalers Way.

EPEPA appreciates that government processes and legislation have been respected to maintain and protect our natural environment through heritage agreements. This decision guarantees the integrity of over 1700 other Heritage Agreements in South Australia.

Thankyou for ensuring the trust we have in the role of government and to Hon. M Selwood for seeking clarification of this decision making during parliamentary sitting.

EPEPA demand that Minister Burke make this decision public and celebrate the critical conservation value of Whalers Way. Environment conservation & protection must be celebrated and the Minister for whom the portfolio is allocated.

Why has Minister Burke not made this public?

... and not celebrating sound political process that achieves a positive result for environmental protection?

Isn't this her portfolio and her responsibility?
