The Albanese government claims to care about the environment. Well, they sure have a messed up way of showing it.

New FOI documents out today show us that government advice to dramatically reign in salmon farming from Macquarie Harbour to protect the Maugean skate and the National Heritage values of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area was defied by the federal Labor government. Instead, Labor chose to make a calculated move to once again betray the environment in favour of protecting big business; in this case, the salmon industry.

What a cruel joke.

These actions are shamelessly self serving. No further proof is needed to determine who this government is really working for. People are not stupid — we can see through the lies that this government tells us when they claim to care about our precious environment. The Albanese government would do well to remember who they represent.
